Dr. Sayel Basel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. With a focus on econometrics, spatial data science and machine learning, his research interest revolve around exploring the intricate connection between these disciplines. He is dedicated to leveraging these methodologies to gain insights that inform the processes of Economic Development and Financial System dynamics. His research is centered on understanding the issues and aspects of development in multi-dimesional perspectives, economic dynamics through convergence theory. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals of international repute.
